Conan O'Brien

Jun 3, 2009

Its been such a long time since my last movie! I'm getting withdrawal symptoms ;)
But finally, movies are hitting the multiplexes...and boy! am I glad.

There is a lot going around and sometimes I wish I could blog more and not be continually bogged down by bad health.
Last to week have been particularly weired, it was akin to blowing a fuse...physically. It was painful...and you become so immobile and dead...every thought that passes thru the brain -hurts. I hate taking so many pills, its just so not fair, because with everyday, it just becomes harder to keep up a smiling face.

Anyways, I am going to try to forget this for now.

So! its finally Goodbye Leno and Hello Conan!! I admit, I am definitely gonna miss Leno...but I'm also looking forward to Conan. Heart of hearts, I did think the inaugural episode for Conan was a bit nervy, you could clearly see that he was very keen to make an impression on everyone who has been watching Leno for so long. But I'm pretty sure that once he gets into the groove of things, he is going to be fun.
I liked what I saw in the debut, the running to LA, Choco Taco jokes, the LA bus ride, the self depreciating , silly intellectual humour... the whole bit...unlike Leno ..different...nice.
I'm gonna keep fingers crossed for him. The only bit that's cheesing me off is Andy Richter....hmm.

The Best joke in my opinion
" I have to admit I think I’ve timed this moment perfectly. Think about it: I’m on a last-place network; I moved to state that’s bankrupt; and tonight’s show is sponsored by General Motors.”

Conan is pretty tall...at 6'4.5" ...... its always nice to see a sort of lean tall man with beady eyes crack silly jokes....so Simpson like !
