I must say, I’m really glad I caught up with this movie…if its anything… it feels like your own. It’s really seeped in realism…and is matter of fact. The best bit, you can really identify with the characters on screen. Sometimes it’s good to see life in its true colors.

Early twenties are so larger than life, when everything is believable and possible. We all dream of being Rock stars (and we probably are at that age!)….ten years on we all can only imagine the what if’s. Now honestly...how many of us have not gone thru this ?
What I particularly enjoyed about this movie ...it was not too overwhelming….clichéd in many ways, predictable too…but it was endearing.
The funniest moment for me was when the band plays at a Dandiya Nite to raise money…the look on their faces and their ‘enthusiasm ‘ …was hilarious.

I thot Joe ( Arjun Rampal) and Debbie ( Shahana Goswami )were outstanding in their roles…especially Debbie. KD ( Purab)…was superb. As for Aditya ( Farhan Akthar)… it was really nice to finally see an actor belt out his own tunes. I think he did a splendid job too.
The Music and Lyrics very were in sync with the times and I cant still stop humming the tunes.

This also bought back memories of Dil Chahta Hain...familar strains...but more reality grounded. Not once do we see some sort super normal effort to change. They all are who they are...its its about their passion.

This is an average movie there is no mistaking that...but its the high emotional content and context that makes it a must watch for me.
I go for a 6.5/10...for a super effort.
