Ok, now this news…NEW KIDS ON THE BLOCK are back!!!!!!
18 years on...and they are still "hanging tough"!
Zowie Mama! ( yes I flicked that from the Wimpy Kid…highly recommend the book)
NKOTB was my first crush especially Jonathan Knight ( who now is 40)
Im excited for sure, they were the original boy band for me.
Their website is up and running...and they are looking good ( albeit more like polished mafia in this pix !) after all this time.
i'm listening in to their new "Single"...pretty much pop...pretty much NKOTB...

Ok, BUT here is what MUST be heard... its Dylan's Mississippi...its a personal song and key one from his new album.
Also...Kat Deluna’s “Whine up” has been grooving me up…and every time I listen to it, I’m totally moving ☺
Music always engaged me, while I’m drawn towards Rock and Jazz, I’m pretty much all over the graph. All I need is to “feel it “.
Part of growing up in a “not so social environment” is that while you can miss out on “interaction” skills, you inherently seek out areas of expression…
Music is a powerful force especially at a certain age. Those were memorable times for sure, music was all encompassing…knowing the lyrics verbatim, getting fan gear, knowing every bit abt your fave artiste…
After your settled into believing your going to be the next “rockstar” … Life changes gear… you go into auto pilot of your career… heck you end up calling this colleague or that colleague a rockstar!...and in a totally different context…and even if you don’t believe it.
Wow! Life changes…hey, now I am talking like “Rock On”!
But its real…so very real.
At times I do wonder, why do we change so much with time and we don’t recognize ourselves, we hold on to who we are, who we belive we are…we hold on to our true selves so deep down and so out of sight that its literally out of our minds.
Its not fair to any one…to ourselves and the people who know us and those who don’t.
Its not easy…but maybe if we, could bring out our true calling...or just be who we really are…we could possibly be happier.
Its really not something that a movie can tell us…you only know it for yourself.
Well…that’s my reverie for the day.
On a different note, I have to stop this mid-night snacking!
