I'm really hoping, this does not end up being a weekend blog…but honestly, it was one hectic spell this time round. Me and Heartman had tons of chores lined up, that had us completely bushed.
But we did managed to see “The Curious Case of Benjamin Button”,
There are two themes that striked me a) the concept or rather the story by F Scott Fitzgerald and b) the direction by David Fincher
And its these two themes, that makes this movie so intriguing, the acting prowess of the protagonists were adequate …just right and while going thru the movie one could probably anticipate the conclusion, however what was gripping was the anticipation of how the “ what will happen next” play out.
The technical prowess of the movie needs to be specifically underscored….but then, that’s a very evident thing.
The Curious Case of Benjamin Button is a unique story of living life in the reverse. A child is born old and aged with arthritis and cataract etc and he grows to live getting younger by the year. His love interest is played by Daisy ( Cate Blanchett), who ages normally
The movie makes for an interesting watch; just gazing at the emotional responses and interplay between characters…but it is really the direction that holds you.
This is a movie to watch…and 7/10 for me.

I also managed to checkout Fratelli Fresh, the new Italian joint at the Renaissance Powai…being a vegetarian …I was not impressed at all. But them maybe the non vegetarian fare is better.
The menu was frightfully out of choice for the plant eaters, and that’s the first things that puts you off.
We ended up with the Risotto which was average and the Pasta was not per instructions…its sad when things like these happen…waiters not paying attention to guest request and you are served what they will.
I’m not sure if I’m ever going back again.
On the other hand, Mainland
On a separate note ,stories of Dubai are quite frightening...
