Terror has struck so many places around the world...but never does it strike so often and with such precision as it does in India...Mumbai...it just keeps coming back to...like its a terror magnet..15 years on and we still grapple with horror a nightmare that refuses to go away!
9/11 has never happened to the US again. Its key to remember and note especially in the aftermath of the US terror attacks...the immensely heightened security...the scanning done at airports was so vivid...still is in ways.
But back in India...its like life goes on...one blast after another......
We seem to have accepted this till now . WHY?
Maybe it is WE who need to be blamed...for choosing the people who govern us, the way we do...by not voting or by being swayed by the wrong people...or for not encouraging the right people to stand up and lead the way.
Why do we not have a stronger citizens movement? Why do we not knock on doors till they open and answer...
Everyone is vulnerable today...but it is we who have choice to yield or not.
The papers, news wires, TV channels will all do rounds of the blame game...I think we have gone way beyond that theme...there is no point anymore...no point in selecting the scapegoat and beating the hell out of it.
It time for actions speak.
It is time to get up and get moving.
