I happen to see this one First Day Last Show, along with Heartman and just that fact clearly colors my positive bias towards the movie. As you can guess, love truly blinds quite a bit :D
What do I think of the movie, technically not too much, it has a weak story line, contrived themes, I dont know if I can really , trully see "Rab" in this performance...and yet , despite its misgivings it is the "Stars" that shine bright.
Kudos goes to Shahrukh ( His line : Punjab Power; Lighting Up Your Life; Surinder Sahni this side - is very cute) who is endearing also Vinay Pathak who essays the role of his loud fried with aplomb. Anushka Sharma- makes for a confident debutant.
This is a 5/10 for me...its for the "Rab" i see in the Stars.
